About the Beach
What is Praia da Ladeira Beach?
It's an Oceanic Beach in the northern hemisphere bathed by the Atlantic Ocean, located on the coast of Portugal - Iberian Peninsula - in the municipality of Vila do Conde.
Praia da Ladeira Beach presents an extensive sand, integrated in the urban fabric of Vila do Conde.
Far, about 200 meters off shore, there's an islet of large dimensions.
To the north, according to the allocation of lifeguards, may exist a sandy strip of about 100 meters between this beach and the neighboring one, decreed as "unsupervised beach."
Further south, small puddles bathed by serene sea waters are formed on the rocks, during low tide. Sometimes, rip currents appear in this area.
The access is available along Avenida Manuel Barros1, also called by Marginal Atlântica2.
