About the Beach
What is Praia dos Mouranitos Beach?
It's an Oceanic Beach in the northern hemisphere bathed by the Atlantic Ocean, located on the coast of Portugal - Iberian Peninsula - in the municipality of Vila do Bispo.
Praia dos Mouranitos Beach has a very extensive sand that gets wider during low tide. Normally, the seawateres are rough.
The north area is less appealing for bathing for having many immersed rocks. The access is done by sea or through Praia da Barriga Beach during low tide.
Those who wish to enjoy this magnificent landscape have to take a dirt road from Estrada Nacional 2681. From here, only the most experienced ones should take the dangerous trail down the cliff!
