About the Beach

What is Praia da Gafanha da Boa Hora Beach?

It's an Oceanic Beach in the northern hemisphere bathed by the Atlantic Ocean, located on the coast of Portugal - Iberian Peninsula - in the municipality of Vagos.

Praia da Gafanha da Boa Hora Beach displays a very expansive sand of about 1 Km, side by side with a dune system topped by a degradated fence.
To the east lies a combination of wild vegetation and agricultural plantations.
The access is done via Estrada Municipal 5921. While trying to turn into west direction, one will be faced with a massive iron gate flanked by wooden pegs preventing the passage. It's recommended to go through a dirt road located 200 meters to the south.
