About the Beach
What is Praia da Formosa Beach?
It's an Oceanic Beach in the northern hemisphere bathed by the Atlantic Ocean, located on the coast of Portugal - Iberian Peninsula - in the municipality of Torres Vedras.
Praia da Formosa Beach, integrated in Praia de Santa Cruz Beach, has a sand of medium size that is sheltered from winds due to the positioning of the arc-shaped cliff.
The seaside and bathing area are filled with rock formations.
At north, topped by a gazebo, there's the Riba Amarela.
Along the Avenida Alto da Vela1, where exists a support car parking, garden benches give a touch of modern design to the beach.
