About the Beach
What is Praia do Louriçal Beach?
It's an Oceanic Beach in the northern hemisphere bathed by the Atlantic Ocean, located on the coast of Portugal - Iberian Peninsula - in the municipality of Sintra.
Praia do Louriçal Beach, also known as Praia da Riba da Cabra Beach, has its bottom full of pebbles and small rocks, right to the south of the Cabo da Roca1. The sand is inexistent.
Here empties the Ribeira do Louriçal2.
The access is done via a trail coming from the Miradouro do Cabo da Roca3 towards south.
This is a less pleasant beach for bathing, although it's interesting to know that this is the most western beach of Europe mainland!
