About the Beach

What is Praia da Aguda Beach?

It's an Oceanic Beach in the northern hemisphere bathed by the Atlantic Ocean, located on the coast of Portugal - Iberian Peninsula - in the municipality of Sintra.

Praia da Aguda Beach discloses a very extensive and thin strip of sand that gets considerably immersed during high tide.
On the cliff top which provides a pleasant view over the landscape, there's a support car parking near a house in ruins.
The access is done through village, following by Estrada da Aguda1 to west direction. To reach the sand it's necessary to go down by a stairway in the south area that is interrupted and continues in the form of a high difficulty trail.

    Wild beach. The stairs makes dificult to acess that makes this beautiful beach calm. Lots of sand and Rocky zone.
