About the Beach

What is Praia da Foz Beach?

It's an Oceanic Beach in the northern hemisphere bathed by the Atlantic Ocean, located on the coast of Portugal - Iberian Peninsula - in the municipality of Sines.

Praia da Foz Beach has a skewed sand in relation to the sea line.
It's located in the mouth of a small valley.
At the central area, an huge rocky formation is highlighted and can become useful when the wind is coming onshore.
The low tide reveals a sandy area to the south.
This is the place where the Ribeira do Burrinho1 empties.
