About the Beach
What is Praia do Creiro Beach?
It's an Oceanic Beach in the northern hemisphere bathed by the Atlantic Ocean, located on the coast of Portugal - Iberian Peninsula - in the municipality of Setúbal.
Praia do Creiro Beach belongs to the Praia do Portinho da Arrábida Beach and discloses a very long sand along. It covers nearly half the shore line of the bay that it is part and is located east of Portinho da Arrábida fishing village.
Sea waters are calm and light green.
At the central/eastern area, nearby the access and car parkings lie the Ruínas da Fábrica de Salga de Peixe do Creiro2.
To southeast may be seen the Pedra da Anicha2.
The long and steep access of almost 650 meters begins at the top of the slope by a tarmac road, however during summer season it is charged for vehicles.
