About the Beach
What is Praia do Outão Beach?
It's an Oceanic Beach in the northern hemisphere bathed by the Atlantic Ocean, located on the coast of Portugal - Iberian Peninsula - in the municipality of Setúbal.
Praia do Outão Beach has a small sized sand that gets fully immersed during the peak of high tide. It's integrated in the Rio Sado1 mouth by its north margin.
This beach is embraced by the walls of the Forte de Santiago do Outão2. To access it one needs to go around the wall during low tide.
It's a special place for contemplating the northern end of Península de Tróia.
