days for the start of bathing season
It's an Oceanic Beach in the northern hemisphere bathed by the Atlantic Ocean, located on the coast of Portugal - Iberian Peninsula - in the municipality of Setúbal.
Praia de Albarquel Beach belongs to the Rio Sado1 mouth by the north side. It has a long sand that is west bounded by a rocky protrusion of unusual shape. At east it's bounded by a pier and the Forte de Albarquel2. From here it's possible to enjoy the privileged position for viewing Península de Tróia.
This beach is more likely to be visited by families and locals from Setúbal city.
