It's an Oceanic Beach in the northern hemisphere bathed by the Atlantic Ocean, located on the coast of Portugal - Iberian Peninsula - in the municipality of Póvoa de Varzim.

Praia do Quião Beach presents a very extensive sand, bounded north by the 1.
There are several rocky clusters along seaside. Between them, form four small coves along the beach which allow to bath in calm waters.
In the north part is common to observe clumps of seaweed drying in the sun to later be made the "Medas", conical heaps of seaweed sheaves.
Near the beach bar empties a small stream.
Access is available through Rua da Praia do Quião2 or along Rua do Sargaceiro3.
