It's an Oceanic Beach in the northern hemisphere bathed by the Atlantic Ocean, located on the coast of Portugal - Iberian Peninsula - in the municipality of Póvoa de Varzim.

Praia da Lagoa-I Beach comprises the most northern part of a small bay which extends until Praia dos Beijinhos Beach.
A short sand is bounded north by a rock formation that has a small stone pier in front of it.
The peripheral area of the beach is very fertile in parking lots, which, however, are insufficient to meet the demand for parking spaces during summer peak.
Access is achieved via Rua da Banda Musical da Póvoa de Varzim1 or by Avenida dos Pescadores2.
