It's an Oceanic Beach in the northern hemisphere bathed by the Atlantic Ocean, located on the coast of Portugal - Iberian Peninsula - in the municipality of Porto.

Praia de Gondarém Beach presents a bit large sand that can disappear during some peaks of high tide.
A rocky string about 50 meters off shore may create cross-currents but, on the other hand, acts like a protection against bigger waves.
Further south, right in the middle of rocks bounding the beach, empties piped the Ribeira da Ervilheira1.
The access is done by Avenida do Brasil2, Rua do Crasto3 or Rua do Padrão4.
