What is Praia do Portinho da Areia do Norte Beach?
It's an Oceanic Beach in the northern hemisphere bathed by the Atlantic Ocean, located on the coast of Portugal - Iberian Peninsula - in the municipality of Peniche.
Praia do Portinho da Areia do Norte Beach is a privileged spot for gazing over the Reserva Natural das Berlengas1, far away.
Located in a cove, the sand has reduced dimensions and north of here one may sight the Península da Papôa2, known among surfers for having a giant waves surfspot nearby.
It was on this beach that were buried the victims of the wreck of the ship called San Pedro de Alcântara do Reino de Espanha3, on .
The access is achived through Avenida Mariano Calado4, in Peniche.
