It's an Oceanic Beach in the northern hemisphere bathed by the Atlantic Ocean, located on the coast of Portugal - Iberian Peninsula - in the municipality of Ovar.

Praia de Cortegaça (South) Beach also known as Praia do Parque de Campismo Beach, has a very long sand with about 1 Km.
To the east, the Perímetro Florestal das Dunas de Ovar1 brings with it a rural scent.
At the endings, the bathing area is bounded by a couple of piers.
This beach is very attended by the guests of Parque de Campismo de Cortegaça2, located in the north part.
