About the Beach

What is Praia de Nossa Senhora Beach?

It's an Oceanic Beach in the northern hemisphere bathed by the Atlantic Ocean, located on the coast of Portugal - Iberian Peninsula - in the municipality of Odemira.

Praia de Nossa Senhora Beach is immediately north located of village. It has a medium size sand that gets reduced to a thin strip of sand during high tide.
During summer season, sea waters are usually calm.
The cliff top has a dune string that extends to the road.
The access is via a stairway on the south cliff's face, near the Fonte de Nossa Senhora1.
