About the Beach
What is Praia do Funtão Beach?
It's an Oceanic Beach in the northern hemisphere bathed by the Atlantic Ocean, located on the coast of Portugal - Iberian Peninsula - in the municipality of Matosinhos.
Praia do Funtão Beach is characterized by a very long sand, bathed by a stirred due to the constant influence of north winds.
Emptying in the north part lies the Ribeira da Certagem or Ribeira da Carreira.
The beach serves, most of all, the inhabitants of Lavra and people from surrounding localities of this parish that appreciate it a lot.
The car parking for bathers support is broad.
Access is done by Rua Ofélia da Cruz Costa2 or through Rua do Fontão3.
