What is Praia das Pedras Brancas Beach?
It's an Oceanic Beach in the northern hemisphere bathed by the Atlantic Ocean, located on the coast of Portugal - Iberian Peninsula - in the municipality of Matosinhos.
Praia das Pedras Brancas Beach is located in the vicinity of Lavra football field and displays an extensive sand, free from rocks. Its thin dune string is protected by a network of wooden walkways.
This beach is quite appreciated by scuba diving and history lovers for nearby sunk a German submarine from World War II, the U-1277.
Access is done by Rua das Algas and Travessa das Algas2.
