About the Beach
What is Praia da Foz do Lizandro Beach?
It's an Oceanic Beach in the northern hemisphere bathed by the Atlantic Ocean, located on the coast of Portugal - Iberian Peninsula - in the municipality of Mafra.
Praia da Foz do Lizandro Beach presents a very extensive and wide sand extending about 600 meters to inland, beside the Rio Lizandro1.
In the center area, at north of the support car parking, a dune system is protected by wooden walkways that provide access to the sand.
This beach is much sought by surf enthusiasts.
The access is done by Estrada Nacional 2472 and following down through Rua do Lizandro3.
Praia da Foz do Lizandro Beach was the last beach to be photographed in the ending of a number of Playocean expeditions that went to conquer all Beaches of Portugal.
