The Historical Neighborhoods of Lisbon have their roots in the towns that founded the city. Conquests, religions and industries formed small housing centers with their own daily lives. The best known still present to this day in all its splendor - Bairro Alto de São Roque, Bairro de Alfama, Bairro de Campo de Ourique.
Here lies the history of the people of Lisbon and certainly much of the history of Portugal.
