About the Beach

What is Praia do Pau Beach?

It's an Oceanic Beach in the northern hemisphere bathed by the Atlantic Ocean, located on the coast of Portugal - Iberian Peninsula - in the municipality of Lagoa.

Praia do Pau Beach has a medium sized sand. Sea water is calm and limpid.
About 95 meters away from the sand may be seen a gorgeous islet disrupting the flat blue sea.
At east, beside the sea line, a rocky formation highlights.
The most experienced swimmers can attempt to reach the west beach with little effort, by going around the cliff edge.
The access to this beach is strictly via sea.
