About the Beach
What is Praia da Marinha Beach?

It's an Oceanic Beach in the northern hemisphere bathed by the Atlantic Ocean, located on the coast of Portugal - Iberian Peninsula - in the municipality of Lagoa.
Praia da Marinha Beach, also known as Praia da Caramujeira Beach, presents a reasonable sized strip of sand.
The calm and crystal waters are greatly enjoyed by diving fans.
Occasionally, seaweed gets deposited on the shore.
From here it's possible to sight two islets to west and east directions.
Car parking is very wide. Access is made by a stairway at the east side next to the beach bar.

9/ 10I’d give it an easy 10 if not of the bad garbage handling of the facility. Too much people for too little garbage cans results in garbage littered everywhere on the way to the beach and near the restaurant. Quite disgusting and the municipality should take more pride in its natural treasure. Otherwise, the views are magnificent and breathtaking. Worth the detour!Jean-Philippe Bernard 2022-08-08 08:19
