It's an Oceanic Beach in the northern hemisphere bathed by the Atlantic Ocean, located on the coast of Portugal - Iberian Peninsula - in the municipality of Grândola.

Praia da Comporta Beach displays a very long sand of about 3,1 Km.
It's little distanced to west of Comporta village.
The dune system is in an amazingly good state of conservation, extending for half a kilometer since the bathing area until the opposite side of .
The landscape at east is fulfilled by vast rice paddies belonging to Herdade da Comporta.
