What is Praia da Frente Azul Beach?

It's an Oceanic Beach in the northern hemisphere bathed by the Atlantic Ocean, located on the coast of Portugal - Iberian Peninsula - in the municipality of Espinho.

Praia da Frente Azul Beach has a broad and very lengthy sand, bounded north by the Ribeira do Mocho that is the natural border between and counties.
In the south part there's a pier belonging to Baía de Espinho1.
During summer time, infrastructures are assembled, allowing to practice several sports on the sand, like basketball, volleyball and soccer.
This shoreline is divided by sandy sections inherent to the respective beach bars, known by (from north to south direction):

  1. Praia de Marbelo Beach
  2. Praia Pop (North) Beach
  3. Praia Pop (South) Beach
  4. Praia Azul (North) Beach
  5. Praia Azul (South) Beach
  6. Praia da Seca Beach
  7. Praia da Costa Verde Beach

The name of each beach bar is dependent on management.
Access to sea side road is done by Rua 622, beside a public pool called .
