It's an Oceanic Beach in the northern hemisphere bathed by the Atlantic Ocean, located on the coast of Portugal - Iberian Peninsula - in the municipality of Albufeira.

Praia do Poço Velho Beach as a very long sand integrated in Praia da Falésia Beach.
The clayey colored cliff is the main element of the surrounding landscape.
This is a far-off beach and for that reason, rarely crowded. It's perfect for spending a quiet day away from the summer bustle of Algarve.
Access is via a wooden stairway embedded on the cliff.
