It's an Oceanic Beach in the northern hemisphere bathed by the Atlantic Ocean, located on the coast of Portugal - Iberian Peninsula - in the municipality of Vila Nova de Gaia.

Praia da Madalena (North) Beach presents an extensive sand with little rock formations at seaside. Here, thin dune string is protected by wooden walkways.
Near the shoreline there are hidden rocks that can make the most erratic and choppy sea.
To the north bounding the beach lies the Ribeira de Atiães1.
This beach is very attended by the guests of Camping Orbitur Madalena.
Access is done by Rua dos Combatentes2 turning afterwards to Rua da Praia3.

    Bastantes pedras no areal, bem como lixo. Rochas... Mas é uma boa praia para quem mora perto dela, mas se vir de longe, não é uma boa escolha.
