It's an Oceanic Beach in the northern hemisphere bathed by the Atlantic Ocean, located on the coast of Portugal - Iberian Peninsula - in the municipality of Vila Nova de Gaia.

Praia da Granja Beach, also known as Praia da Meia Laranja Beach, has a thin and very extensive strip of sand.
The north - where empties the Ribeira da Granja1 - and center are less frequented due to the denser rock presence in the water.
To the south there's a gazebo nearby the bicycle lane.
Right beside the beach lies the complex of Piscinas Municipais da Granja2 which possesses an inner pool an another one outside, both having salty water.
