It's an Oceanic Beach in the northern hemisphere bathed by the Atlantic Ocean, located on the coast of Portugal - Iberian Peninsula - in the municipality of Vila Nova de Gaia.

Praia da Estrela do Mar Beach displays a long sand and a dune system that has been recovering through the years.
This beach very exposed to elements is very frequented by surf lovers searching for stirred sea waters.
In the center there's a sandy edge little pronounced that enters the sea and ends in a rock formation.
The access is done via Avenida Beira Mar1 or by Rua Arca de Noé2.
