About the Beach
What is Praia da Areia Branca Beach?

It's an Oceanic Beach in the northern hemisphere bathed by the Atlantic Ocean, located on the coast of Portugal - Iberian Peninsula - in the municipality of Vila Nova de Gaia.
Praia da Areia Branca Beach is integrated in the sea front of a place named Aldeia.
A lengthy sand, little wide in the north part, increases gradually its amplitude towards south direction.
In this place one finds the Parque das Dunas da Aguda1, protected by walkways and wooden fences, providing a great example of beach and respective fauna and flora conservation.
