About the Beach
What is Praia da Fóia do Carro Beach?
It's an Oceanic Beach in the northern hemisphere bathed by the Atlantic Ocean, located on the coast of Portugal - Iberian Peninsula - in the municipality of Vila do Bispo.
Praia da Fóia do Carro Beach presents a thin and long strip of sand that gets wider in the middle area. At east and west it's bounded by rocky formations.
The cliff full of autochthonous vegetation provides great beauty to this little known beach.
The access goes through a partially tarred road after exiting Estrada Nacional 1251, heading south. The final part of the way is done by a dirt trail that ends at the east neighboring beach. From here, one has to wait for the low tide to be able to cross and reach this lost paradise.
