About the Beach

What is Praia da Duna Alta Beach?

It's an Oceanic Beach in the northern hemisphere bathed by the Atlantic Ocean, located on the coast of Portugal - Iberian Peninsula - in the municipality of Vagos.

Praia da Duna Alta Beach presents a very long sand, bounded north by a pier.
The name arose due to a tall and long dune accompanying the sand along the beach.
This spot located a few hundred meters off from the most southern branch is quiet and full of verdant vegetation.
Access is done by Estrada Muncipal 592.
