It's an Oceanic Beach in the northern hemisphere bathed by the Atlantic Ocean, located on the coast of Portugal - Iberian Peninsula - in the municipality of Torres Vedras.

Praia de Santa Rita (North) Beach has a sand with reasonable dimensions, situated in the sea front of Santa Rita village.
The agitated sea brings surf fans very often into this beach.
To the north, there's a rock protuberance highlighting on the landscape.
A dune system protected in he middle by wooden walkways is crossed by Avenida Dr. Joaquim Jacinto1 and a car parking.
