About the Beach
What is Praia da Horta Beach?
It's an Oceanic Beach in the northern hemisphere bathed by the Atlantic Ocean, located on the coast of Portugal - Iberian Peninsula - in the municipality of Torres Vedras.
Praia da Horta Beach displays a sand of reduced dimensions, situated in a small cliff recess that benefits of some protection against wind and rough sea waters.
The cliff top is filled by a vastness of farm fields.
Access is done via a dirt road coming from Carrascais village. Reached the top of the cliff, there's a pedestrian trail until the sand at south.
