About the Beach

It's an Oceanic Beach in the northern hemisphere bathed by the Atlantic Ocean, located on the coast of Portugal - Iberian Peninsula - in the municipality of Torres Vedras.

Praia Azul Beach presents a very long sand of about 1,1 Km.
At north, on top of the cliff, the houses mingle with dune land. Upon arriving at the center and south areas, a beautiful dune system claims the landscape, ending on the 1 margins.
The beach is very much sought by surfing enthusiasts.
Access is done by Estrada Nacional 2472, exiting towards west at Boavista village.
