About the Beach
What is Praia do Homem Nu Beach?
It's an Oceanic Beach in the northern hemisphere bathed by the Atlantic Ocean, located on the coast of Portugal - Iberian Peninsula - in the municipality of Tavira.
Praia do Homem Nu Beach, has a very extensive sand of about 4,4 Km. It lies at Ilha de Tavira1, detached from shore by the narrow Canal de Tavira2.
At west, the beach is bounded by Barra da Fuseta3.
The beauty of Ria Formosa4 (a valley eroded by rivers and with sandy islands which is flooded by the sea, turning the water into brackish), is revealed by the shapes of its swampy soils.
Access must be done by boat or through the east neighboring beach by walking.
