About the Beach

What is Praia do Burrinho Beach?

It's an Oceanic Beach in the northern hemisphere bathed by the Atlantic Ocean, located on the coast of Portugal - Iberian Peninsula - in the municipality of Sines.

Praia do Burrinho Beach is comprised by rocky formations. Its sand only shows itself to the bathers by the low tide period. During high tide, the sand and rocks get fully immersed.
The dune system to the east is really vast.
Far away, about 270 meters to northwest, may be seen an islet.
This beach is less pleasant for bathing and, therefore, rarely attended.
The access is done via a dirt road exiting from Estrada Municipal 11091.
