About the Beach

What is Praia de Vale Covo Beach?

It's an Oceanic Beach in the northern hemisphere bathed by the Atlantic Ocean, located on the coast of Portugal - Iberian Peninsula - in the municipality of Sesimbra.

Praia de Vale Covo Beach, also known as Praia do Vale da Couve Beach, is portrayed by its pebbles and large rocks. Here the main element is the imposing scarps.
During high tide the beach gets totally immersed.
The access is through the ravine at east, coming from Aldeia Nova da Azóia village and should only be attempted by the most experienced ones.
It's best to access it by sea.
