It's an Oceanic Beach in the northern hemisphere bathed by the Atlantic Ocean, located on the coast of Portugal - Iberian Peninsula - in the municipality of Póvoa de Varzim.

Praia de Pontes Beach, also known as Praia de Brisamar Beach, presents a little extensive sand, chopped by several rock formations that make sea waters more serene.
Mainly to the north, the abundance of rocks may become dangerous to the more unwary and to children.
The majority of the sandy area is occupied with the exploration of beach barracks by the beach bar management.
Access is done by Rua da Banda Musical da Póvoa de Varzim1 or along Avenida dos Pescadores2.
