About the Beach

What is Praia da Codixeira Beach?

It's an Oceanic Beach in the northern hemisphere bathed by the Atlantic Ocean, located on the coast of Portugal - Iberian Peninsula - in the municipality of Póvoa de Varzim.

Praia da Codixeira Beach is inserted in the sea front of a place called and in the north part, of another one named Barranha.
People practice sports on the long sand during summer time and beside it there is a dune system in good preservation condition.
The calmness and minor aflluence of tourists are data to consider by those seeking summer spots to rest and reestablish energies.
There's a reduced dimensions parking lot in the end of Rua do Loteamento Social1.
