What is Praia de Cortegaça Beach?

It's an Oceanic Beach in the northern hemisphere bathed by the Atlantic Ocean, located on the coast of Portugal - Iberian Peninsula - in the municipality of Ovar.

Praia de Cortegaça Beach presents a very small sand with the shape of a seashell.
Near the bathing area there's an accentuate inclination of the sand.
The physical structure of this shoreline was sculpted by the stone seawalls built to stop the sea from advancing over the houses and by the south pier.
This beach is very frequented by the guests of Parque de Campismo de Cortegaça1.
