About the Beach

What is Praia Velha Beach?

It's an Oceanic Beach in the northern hemisphere bathed by the Atlantic Ocean, located on the coast of Portugal - Iberian Peninsula - in the municipality of Oeiras.

Praia Velha Beach, also known as Praia dos Pescadores Beach, presents a wide sand facing northeast. The south side is protected by a pier.
There's a water source with a geyser, built in the sea, a few meters away from shore.
At west the beach is bounded by the facilities of Clube Desportivo de Paço de Arcos - Centro Náutico1.
This beach is most frequented by fishermen that leave their boats at the safe haven right in front of it.
