About the Beach

What is Praia dos Nascedios Beach?

It's an Oceanic Beach in the northern hemisphere bathed by the Atlantic Ocean, located on the coast of Portugal - Iberian Peninsula - in the municipality of Odemira.

Praia dos Nascedios Beach, integrated in Praia do Malhão (Norte) Beach, acquired its name due to the several freshwater springs coming from the dunes. The sand has a medium size.
The south area is less pleasant for bathing because of an enormous rocky formation highlighted from the sea line.
To the east, the dune system is huge.
This beach is located a few more than 300 meters from a large open area used for car parking.
