It's an Oceanic Beach in the northern hemisphere bathed by the Atlantic Ocean, located on the coast of Portugal - Iberian Peninsula - in the municipality of Odemira.

Praia do Carvalhal Beach is situated in a cove flanked by very high cliffs that protect it from the wind. The sand is wide and of medium extension.
Beautified by the mouth of the Ribeira do Barranco do Carvalhal1, this landscape delights all nature lovers.
At this place, there are three open fields serving the purpose of car parking.
The access is by Estrada Nacional 1202, exiting into Brejão village.
