It's an Oceanic Beach in the northern hemisphere bathed by the Atlantic Ocean, located on the coast of Portugal - Iberian Peninsula - in the municipality of Óbidos.

Praia do Rei do Cortiço Beach has very long strip of sand the becomes wider at mid area, near the beach bar. Here, passes a small stream.
At south, after the rocky slabs, there's another wider sandy corner where another watercourse flows.
The access is done by a dirt road with a little more than 1 Km, ending in an open wide area used to car park.
