What is Praia da Vieira Beach?

It's an Oceanic Beach in the northern hemisphere bathed by the Atlantic Ocean, located on the coast of Portugal - Iberian Peninsula - in the municipality of Marinha Grande.

Praia da Vieira Beach, also known as Praia da Vieira de Leira Beach, integrates the 1 mouth by the south margin.
A very long sand extends from Praia da Vieira village (where it gets larger near a pier) into south for about 5,4 Km.
On the south side of the river there's a dune cluster with underbrush on it, protected by wooden walkways.
Beside the sea side road one finds a water fun park called Parque Aquático Mariparque2.
This beach is very appreciated by surf enthusiasts due to the agitated sea waters.
