About the Beach
What is Praia de Mil Regos Beach?
It's an Oceanic Beach in the northern hemisphere bathed by the Atlantic Ocean, located on the coast of Portugal - Iberian Peninsula - in the municipality of Mafra.
Praia de Mil Regos Beach, also known as Praia do Forte de Mil Regos Beach, has a sand of small dimensions flanked by rocky formations.
On top of the north cliff arises the Forte de Mil Regos1, dated from the time of the restoration of independence and classified as "Property of Public Interest" since 1977.
This beach is part of the Ericeira World Surfing Reserve territory.
The access is done by taking a walk on the sand of the neighbor beaches.
