Lifeguarded Beach from to
days for the start of bathing season
It's an Oceanic Beach in the northern hemisphere bathed by the Atlantic Ocean, located on the coast of Portugal - Iberian Peninsula - in the municipality of Lourinhã.
Praia da Peralta Beach, also known as Praia da Atalaia Beach, owns a very long sand of about 1,2 Km.
This coast line became notorious because a farmer found here the bones of a new dinosaur species called Lourinhanosaurus Antunesi, in the year of 1982.
The cliff length along the beach is only interrupted by the dirt open area utilized for car parking.
The access is done via Lourinhã, following westward towards the sea and passing by Montoito village.
