About the Beach
What is Praia do Trafal Beach?
It's an Oceanic Beach in the northern hemisphere bathed by the Atlantic Ocean, located on the coast of Portugal - Iberian Peninsula - in the municipality of Loulé.
Praia do Trafal Beach, also known as Praia do Cavalo Preto Beach, as a very extensive sand and quiet seawaters.
In its cliff was found a grave dated from the roman period.
At east, the beach is bounded by the Ribeira do Carcavai1.
The dune complex is delimited by two completely different sceneries: in the northwest by the swampy farmland fields and in the northeast by the Royal Golf Course that belongs to Vale do Lobo locality.
