It's an Oceanic Beach in the northern hemisphere bathed by the Atlantic Ocean, located on the coast of Portugal - Iberian Peninsula - in the municipality of Lagos.

Praia de Porto de Mós Beach as very long stretch of sand that gets to 1,2 Km during low tide. It's located in a valley mouth surrounded by quite steep rocky cliffs.
On top of the cliff it is possible to enjoy the views from the Miradouro da Atalaia1.
