It's an Oceanic Beach in the northern hemisphere bathed by the Atlantic Ocean, located on the coast of Portugal - Iberian Peninsula - in the municipality of Lagos.

Praia de São Roque Beach belongs to Meia Praia Beach and is located at Baía de Lagos1. It has a very long sand.
The dune system is protected by wooden walkways and highlighted trails that cross the dune into the bathing area. Sea waters are mainly calm.
Also know as Praia de São Sebastião Beach, the beach is west bounded by one of the piers of Ribeira de Bensafrim's2 bar. Here is where sea vessels enter 3.
